THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
Confirmation, in the Catholic Church, is one of the seven sacraments. It is also one of the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church, the other two being Baptism and Holy Communion. Through this sacrament, the candidates are enriched by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, are bound more perfectly to the Church, and are strengthened in faith.
Our Confirmation program is a 2-year program. To receive the Sacrament, you must complete the two-year program unless you are a transfer into our program.

Requirements:
CLASS ATTENDANCE – 4 absences are allowed per year unless excused due to illness/unusual circumstances.
MASS ATTENDANCE IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF OUR PROGRAM.
Students must attend Mass weekly and on Holy Days of Obligation.
Confirmation Sponsors:- Must be a Catholic.
- Must have received all the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Holy Communion & Confirmation.
- One must be 14 years of age or older.
- One must practice the Catholic faith by:
- – believing all the Church teaches on matters of faith and morals.
- – participate in Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation
- – if married, they must be in a valid marriage recognized by the Church.
Sponsors should be active/registered members in the Catholic Church and will have to provide a Sponsor Certification Letter.
